Enrichment: Driver Education

  • Lindbergh Community Driver Education offers 8-week programs during the school year and 4-week programs during the summer that combine classroom instruction, driving simulation, and behind-the-wheel experience. Students learn skills related to traffic laws and situations, vehicle dynamics, and driving environments, while developing the techniques necessary to become low-risk defensive driver.

Participants must be at least 15 years of age with a valid Missouri driving permit.  Click here for Missouri permit information.  This is a non-credit course, but may help participants qualify for auto insurance discounts.

8-week classes meet one night per week from 6-8 p.m. and 4-week classes meet two nights per week from 6-8 p.m. at Lindbergh High School. A total of 3 hours of drive time is included in the program. Parents are requested to come one-half hour early the first night to sign-up students for drive time.  All classes are led by certified driving instructors and follow strict safety guidelines.
