Lindbergh Schools uses a variety of district-approved educational apps and websites to support a dynamic, engaging learning experience. The resources listed below have been evaluated by Lindbergh teachers and administrators to ensure that they are appropriate for our learning environment. AI Chat for Securly Filter
Lindbergh’s Teaching and Learning team has been researching tools to provide students with appropriate access to Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) resources, while also ensuring student data privacy, supporting academic integrity and keeping students safe online.
AI Chat for Securly Filter is a conversational AI tool that is designed specifically for K-12 student use, and we are excited to introduce it to students beginning on April 29. Lindbergh Schools already uses Securly monitoring and filtering tools to keep students safe online. AI Chat operates like other generative AI tools such as Chat GPT, but it gives schools the ability to set parameters about how the AI will respond.
Throughout the school year, Lindbergh teachers have participated in professional learning about AI, and they are being provided specific instruction about AI Chat for Securly Filter as well.

Canvas
Canvas is Lindbergh's learning management system, which supports teaching and learning by connecting all of our digital tools in one place. This connection empowers teachers to transform the learning experience for students by making it more personalized, engaging and collaborative. Students can check their course calendars, access materials and submit assignments. In addition, parents and guardians can access Canvas to view course calendars, grades and assignments.

Clever allows users to create a personalized portal with a single login for all of their online programs and resources. Students easily log in and immerse themselves in learning, while teachers save precious instruction time.

Zoom is a video communications app that allows users to set up virtual video and audio conferencing, webinars, live chats, screen-sharing and other collaborative capabilities. Users do not need an account to attend a Zoom meeting, and the platform is compatible with desktop and mobile operating systems.
