Lindbergh Schools is introducing standards-based learning at the elementary level to improve clarity, consistency and accuracy in K-5 grading practices. Standards-based learning will:

Provide students and families with clear and accurate communication about their learning progress

Create consistent standards of achievement across all Lindbergh elementary schools

Establish a consistent definition of “mastery” for all students districtwide

Measure learning as a progression, where all students continue to grow, regardless of their current level of achievement
