Academic Opportunities

Lindbergh Schools recognizes the importance of supporting student learning during the summer months. This summer, our in-person academic opportunities will focus on remediation for specific content areas.
Elementary school summer school will provide English language arts instruction for students entering grades K-6. Middle school summer school is designed for students entering grades 7-9 with specific needs in reading, English language arts and math. High school summer school is a combination of credit recovery and elective credit options for students entering grades 9-12.
In addition, our Kindergarten Warm Up will help students entering kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year make a successful transition from preschool to elementary school.

Elementary School Summer School
The Elementary School Summer School program is a four-week academic session for students entering grades K-6. Incoming Kindergarten students are selected based on those who have not experienced a high-quality preschool environment. Incoming 1st-6th grade students selected have been identified based on assessment scores that reflect a significant need in reading. The program’s primary focus is English language arts instruction led by highly qualified teachers. In order to individualize instruction and meet the specific needs of students, participation is by invitation only.

Middle School Summer School
The Middle School Summer School program is designed for students entering grades 7-9 with specific needs in reading, English language arts and math. Students needing reading support will meet four days a week (Monday-Thursday) from 8:15-11:45 a.m. Students needing English language arts support will have a one week camp (Monday through Thursday) from 8:15-12:15 p.m. Students needing math support will have a one week camp (Monday through Thursday) from 8:15-12:15 p. m. Students will receive small group instruction based on ability, not grade level. Students are invited to participate in summer school based on teacher recommendations. High School Summer School
The High School Summer School program is a combination of credit recovery and elective credit options for students entering grades 9-12. Students may take up to two half-credit courses. The program is scheduled for June 5-July 13. Students will meet Monday-Thursday from 7:45-10:25 a.m. or 10:35 a.m.-1:15 p.m. for one course, or 7:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. for two courses. No school Monday, June 19 and Tuesday, July 4. The registration link will be live at 8 am on Monday, March 13.
