2019 Election Information
Filing for two seats (three-year terms) on the Lindbergh Schools Board of Education opens Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Filing closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019.
Candidates may file in the Superintendent’s Office, 9350 Sappington Rd., 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Dec. 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28, 2018 and Jan. 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15, 2019. On Jan. 15, 2019, the last day for filing, candidates may file between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The ballot order of candidates who file on the first day of filing will be determined by random drawing. Candidates who file after the first day will be listed in order of filing.
Interested Lindbergh residents who are United States citizens, 24 years of age or older, and have resided in Missouri one year preceding the election are eligible for candidacy. The three-year terms of Jennifer Miller and Dr. Mike Tsichlis will expire in April.
Under the provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is equal to the number of positions to be filled by the election, no election will be held. However, if the number of candidates filing exceeds the number of positions, the annual school election will be held on April 2, 2019.
