March 12, 2025
The Finance Board Advisory Committee met on March 11 to review upcoming Board of Education agenda items and share information about district finances.
This month's agenda items for the Board of Education's March 13 regular meeting include a five-year lease agreement for multifunction copier devices and copy/print management software, Prop R 2024 change orders, a proposal for district audit services, a Prop R 2024 furniture purchase for 15 Lindbergh High School classrooms, and amended adult meal prices for food service. They also include approval of BSI as Construction Management at Risk for Kennerly and Long elementary schools.
The Finance Advisory Committee exists to ensure transparency, accountability and efficiency in District finances. Committee members will discuss areas covered by the district’s fiscal management policies. In addition, the Board of Education will direct the specific responsibilities of the committee to review any matters potentially having a significant impact on district finances before the board takes action.
The Finance Committee's next meeting will be on April 15.
