Communications Planning Committee Update: January 13, 2025

January 14, 2025

The Lindbergh Schools Communications Planning Committee met on Jan. 13 to review the district’s Draft Communication Plan before presenting it to the Board of Education on Jan. 16.

The plan identifies target audiences, and includes five strategies the district can use to communicate effectively with those audiences in the future:

  1. Streamline and consolidate communications across the district and its schools.

  2. Tell the district’s story and highlight the positive things happening in its schools on a regular basis.

  3. Expand and improve the district’s digital presence and communication efforts.

  4. Positively promote and highlight the district’s value to students, families and the overall community.

  5. Seek feedback to continually improve district communication efforts moving forward.

To facilitate the Communications Planning process, Lindbergh Schools has partnered with the Donovan Group to conduct a strategic communications audit that will guide the district’s community engagement efforts over the next three years. The audit process includes a communications inventory, key communicator interviews, an online survey, and a district website audit.

The Strategic Communications and Engagement Plan will be presented to the Board of Education during a workshop meeting on Jan. 16, and a final draft will be presented for approval during the Feb. 20 regular meeting.
