Communications Committee Studies Survey Data

November 26, 2024

The Lindbergh Schools Communications Planning Committee met on Nov. 25 to review community feedback and make recommendations that will inform key goals for a Strategic Communications and Engagement Plan. The committee includes parents, community members, teachers and administrators, and professionals in the fields of marketing and communications.

A total of 837 respondents completed an anonymous online survey this fall. The survey was designed to measure the effectiveness of the school district's communication efforts and show where the district can improve to better meet the needs of staff, families, and community members.

Lindbergh Schools is partnering with the Donovan Group this fall to conduct a strategic communications audit that will guide the district’s community engagement efforts over the next three years. The audit process includes a communications inventory, key communicator interviews, an online survey, and a district website audit.

The end product of this work will be a Strategic Communications and Engagement Plan that includes key goals, action steps to work toward those goals, and a method to measure effectiveness as well. This plan will be presented to the Board of Education during a workshop meeting on Jan. 16.
