Lindbergh Schools Named 2024 Healthiest Employer Honoree
Lindbergh Schools has been recognized in the 2024 Healthiest Employers of St. Louis, an awards program created to honor people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employee population.
“Our goal is to provide employees with great options and resources to adopt and maintain healthy behaviors,” said Dr. Allie Mach, Executive Director of Human Resources. “Ensuring our staff members give their best to our children and community each day means that taking care of our employees is a priority. This mindset is the staple of our wellbeing work.”
Companies were recognized because of their commitment to workplace wellness and their exceptional health and benefits offerings.
Lindbergh Schools' Wellness Program, Lindbergh Wellbeing, offers employee incentives for completing wellness activities.
In addition, Lindbergh has implemented active Wellbeing Advocates in each building. There has been increased participation in the wellbeing portal to over 40% of employees and that number is growing each month. In addition, the Wellness Steering Committee meets monthly to review data and explore how that can increase employee participation and meet the needs that exist in our community.
Each company filled out our annual Healthiest Employers application. The responses are scored Rubric style 1-100 scale. The assessment is made up of six categories with yes/no, multiple choice, and short answer questions, with each question totaling .25-3 points. A Healthiest Employers Index (HEI) is assigned to each application to help rank among companies of similar sizes.
