Lindbergh Schools Celebrates Unity Week 2024

Unity Week was in full swing at Lindbergh Schools this past week. Unity Week was created to spread kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center created the Unity theme, as a way to remind society that no child should ever experience bullying.
At each school in the district, Unity Week was celebrated in many different ways. Some of the highlights from each school are shared below.
- Lindbergh High School: lunch buddies program, sidewalk chalk messages, PAC lesson
- Sperreng Middle School: flyer time lesson, unity pledge signing
- Truman Middle School: flyer time lesson, unity pledge signing
- Concord Elementary School: library lessons on kindness, ELL kindness display, broadcast club announcements,
- Crestwood Elementary School: theme around book of the month, mix-it-up at lunch
- Dressel Elementary School: swimming in a school of kindess activity and display, classroom activities each day of the week
- Kennerly Elementary School: unity week food drive, kindness cards, staff BBQ
- Long Elementary School: kindness walk, ability awareness day
- Sappington Elementary School: pumpkin decoration contest, book reading and activities
- ECE: art display about kindness
- Idea Center: unity week pledge, students write a kind note to friends, videos about anti-bullying and kindness
