Lindbergh Schools’ new five-year strategic plan will continue to support student success in school and life, and guide annual Compass goals that are developed by the Administrative Cabinet and reported to the Board of Education during quarterly public workshops. The Board of Education approved the plan during its March 12 regular meeting.

Development of the Strategic Plan began in August with extensive community engagement, and continued through January with three meetings of a Steering Committee that includes parents, staff, students, local community leaders and business people from across the district. The work was led by Education Governance Leadership Association (EGL). Following a first reading by the board in February, the district invited community members to review the draft strategic plan and share feedback.

In addition to stating the district’s beliefs and strategic goals in the areas of academics, talent, facilities, communication and resources; the plan also includes Strategic Priority statements that were developed by the Steering Committee and will provide direction for the district’s annual goals as well.
