Steering Committee Reviews Draft Strategic Plan for 2024-29

Jan. 30, 2024

During the third meeting of the Strategic Plan Steering Committee on Jan. 25, EGL Facilitator Dr. Todd White shared a draft of the district’s 2024-29 Strategic Plan for discussion, review and revision.

“Excellence in Learning. Designing the Future” will continue to serve as the district’s overarching “why” and the mission of the new strategic plan.

Committee members reviewed the Top Success Measures as ranked by members of the Lindbergh community, and used those success measures to develop Strategic Priority Statements that will be a part of the new strategic plan. The committee worked in small groups to develop strategic priorities for students, the district and community.

Committee members also reviewed the district’s belief statements and provided feedback. In addition, they discussed five-year strategic goals in the areas of academics, talent, facilities, communication and resources.

A draft of the 2024-29 Strategic Plan will be presented to the Board of Education during the Feb. 13 regular meeting. Following that meeting, the Lindbergh community will have an opportunity to provide feedback prior to the March 12 meeting, when the board will vote on the plan as presented.
