The Technology Board Advisory Committee discussed creating Student Agreements for technology use. Committee members will review draft agreements for students in different grade levels and provide feedback.

Executive Director of Technology Dominic Jaggie and Blended Learning Coordinator Colin Davitt also led a discussion of Emerging Technologies such as artificial intelligence. Looking ahead, the district is seeking to create guidelines for the use of these emerging technologies that take into account student privacy, data security, professional learning and financial implications.

The Technology Advisory Committee provides feedback on a variety of topics and makes suggestions and recommendations that can benefit all students. Work focuses on supporting technology infrastructure development as well as educational technology implementation and their effects on all students and staff.

The committee will meet again on December 11, 2023.
