The Lindbergh Schools Student Life Board Advisory Committee held its second meeting of the year on Oct. 12, 2023. Dr. Jill Lawson, executive director of assessment and student services, led the meeting as it continued from where it was left off at the last meeting.

Members broke into small groups to finish discussing what students and families needs are transitions from early childhood to kindergarten, fifth grade to sixth grade, eighth grade to ninth grade, and graduation to secondary. 

Before members broke into small groups, everyone discussed what they had been talking about when it comes to these transitions. It was agreed that familiarity with the new buildings would be the best way to ease into the transition of a new school.

The committee will next meet Nov. 9.
