Three Lindbergh Students Earn Perfect ACT Scores
October 5, 2023
Lindbergh High School seniors William (Liam) Goddard, Carson Kienzler and Cindy Yao each earned a perfect score on the ACT this year, joining an elite group of fewer than half of one percent of students who take the test nationwide and score a perfect 36.
“We are proud and excited to have three individuals achieve a perfect score on the ACT,” LHS Principal Dr. Eric Cochran said. “Liam, Carson, and Cindy are all extremely bright and dedicated students. Their success is a direct reflection of their innate effort and abilities, the support of their individual families, and the talented teachers who have supported each of them on their academic journey.”
Liam, Carson, and Cindy were recognized for their accomplishment in the company of all their classmates, during the class of 2024’s senior panoramic photo in the Flyers Gym on Thursday.
The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement exam that measures students’ knowledge and skills in English, reading, mathematics, and science, including analysis and problem-solving skills that indicate college and career readiness. Nationwide, only 3,376 of 1.35 million students who took the ACT in the graduating class of 2022 earned a top composite score of 36.
