Lindbergh Schools is pleased to announce that it has been honored with the Healthiest Employers Award for St. Louis. The award is given to employers who provide a robust wellness program and are laser-focused on employee satisfaction and wellbeing.
“Our goal is to provide employees with tools, resources, strategies, and incentives to adopt and maintain healthy behaviors,” said Dr. Jaime Cavato, Executive Director of Human Resources. “We are in the business of kids, and ensuring our staff members give their best to our children and community each day means that taking care of our employees is a priority. This mindset is the staple of our wellbeing work.”
In addition, Lindbergh has implemented active Wellbeing Advocates in each building. There has been increased participation in the wellbeing portal to over 40% of employees and that number is growing each month. In addition, the Wellness Steering Committee meets monthly to review data and explore how that can increase employee participation and meet the needs that exist in our community.
Employers that score high enough are recognized as Healthiest Employers. Employers are categorized by size, and they are ranked within those size groups to accurately compare results. Lindbergh Schools is now eligible for a chance to be named one of the top 100 healthiest employers in the nation. The district placed second overall in the "500-1,499 total employees" category.
The district partners with three robust resources -- Brown and Brown, HealthSource Solutions, Curalinc and Navigate -- to create and develop opportunities to support employees' physical and mental health. Lindbergh Schools is proud to share this honor with all of its employees.
