Lindbergh Invites Community Members to Help Inform Strategic Plan

August 31, 2023

Lindbergh Schools invites members of the community to share their thoughts and feedback as the district prepares to develop a new strategic plan and set goals that will guide decision-making over the next five years.

The district is partnering with Education Governance Leadership Association (EGL) to develop a new five-year strategic plan that will support excellence in learning for all Lindbergh students. Community engagement is an essential part of this process, and the district hopes to hear from as many members of the community as possible. To support this process, the district will host a series of Community Engagement events that will be open to the public, during the following dates and times:

  • What: Lindbergh Strategic Planning Community Engagement Events

  • When: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12

  • Location: Truman Middle School cafeteria, 12225 Eddie and Park Road

  • What: Lindbergh Strategic Planning Community Engagement Events

  • When: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 14

  • Location: Sperreng Middle School cafeteria, 12111 Tesson Ferry Road

“As parents, employees, graduates, business owners or community members, we all share a common goal: we are committed to ensuring excellence in learning for all students,” said Dr. Tony Lake, superintendent of schools. “The feedback we receive during this forum will inform the work of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, helping shape the future of education at Lindbergh and creating student-centered, future-ready opportunities for all students.”

These Community Engagement events are open to all members of the Lindbergh community, including but not limited to, students, parents, employees, residents, business owners, alumni and community leaders.

The district’s current five-year strategic plan is available at go.lindberghschools.ws/strategicplan. The Strategic Planning Steering Committee is scheduled to present a new five-year plan to the Board of Education in February 2024, with a final vote scheduled for March 2024.
