Lindbergh High School counselor Jonathan Riethmeier presented the ICAP/My Path course selection, a new program to help students plan out their classes throughout their high school tenure, at the Feb. 23 Student Life Board Advisory Committee meeting.

Due to new state guidelines, Lindbergh Schools had to adapt a plan for student course planning. The program allows students to help plan for what they may want to do after high school. Currently, freshman and sophomores at the high school level are using the ICAP program. Rithmeier said they didn't want to give seniors and juniors more information to sort through, as they are almost through to graduation.

Committee members discussed the program, which led to a larger discussion on how information can be given to first generation college students.

The next meeting is scheduled for the committee is April 13.
