The Technology Board Advisory Committee held its second meeting of the 2022-23 school year on Monday, Sep. 26.

During this meeting, members of the committee were given a demonstration of Infinite Campus, highlighting the parent, student, and administrator portals.

Following the demonstration, Executive Director of Technology Dominic Jaggie and SIS Portal and CoreDATA Support Specialist Michelle McRoy explained the decision behind a transition to Infinite Campus. Jaggie and McRoy also reviewed specifics like cost, training, and implementation. Two dates were discussed for a possible Infinite Campus rollout, August 2023 and January 2024. 

During breakout time, committee members continued the discussion around Infinite Campus and provided feedback on the implementation date and possible training timelines for staff. Members believed an August 2023 rollout would be the preferred option.

With a move to Infinite Campus, the committee will continue to look at the best ways to provide staff with training on the new system prior to its rollout.

The next meeting is Nov. 7, 2022.
