The Technology Board Advisory Committee held its first meeting of the 2022-23 school year on Monday, Aug. 29.

During this meeting, members of the Teaching and Learning and Communications departments gathered feedback from committee members about how the district uses technology to communicate with families, staff and students. Committee members were asked to navigate the district website to find information. They provided feedback on their user experiences and suggestions for improvement.

Chief Academic Officer Dr. Tara Sparks also reviewed the committee's work during previous years for new members, and outlined topics that will be discussed this year, including digital wellness, student privacy, student instruction and teacher training and the district's Student Information System.

The next meeting is Sept. 26, 2022.
