Election Information for Board of Education Candidates

Nov. 19, 2021

Filing for two seats (three-year terms) on the Lindbergh Schools Board of Education opens Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021 at 8 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021.

The three-year terms of Jennifer Miller and Mike Tsichlis will expire in April 2022. Interested Lindbergh residents who are United States citizens, 24 years of age or older, and have resided in Missouri one year preceding the election are eligible for candidacy.

Candidates may file in the Lindbergh Schools Central Office, 9350 Sappington Rd., from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, and 23, 2021. On Tuesday, Dec. 28, the last day for filing, candidates may file between 3-5 p.m.

Filing will not occur on days that the district is closed due to inclement weather or in the event of closure due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Candidates should call 314-729-2400, ext. 8600 or email to inquire if offices are open. Everyone must wear face coverings at all times while in the building.

The ballot order of candidates who file on the first day of filing will be determined by random drawing. Candidates who file after the first day will be listed in order of filing.

Under provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is equal to the number of positions to be filled by the election, no election will be held. However, if the number of candidates filing exceeds the number of positions at any time, the annual school election will be held on April 5, 2022.
