Technology Committee Update: Sept. 27, 2021

Sept. 27, 2021

The Technology Board Advisory Committee held its second meeting of the 2021-22 school year Monday, Sept. 27. Lindbergh High School students enrolled in the Copilot program walked the committee through the design and features of the program's website, highlighting tutorials and help desk procedures.

In addition, ARC Coordinator Doug Barton provided an overview of the district's esports program, and explained how the Missouri Scholastic Esports Federation supports its member schools.

Committee members broke into small groups to discuss tools that could be added to the Copilot website to enhance support for students, families and staff, as well as how to grow the esports program.

The esports discussion led to actionable items regarding gameplay expansion and communication with students and families about the program. The Copilot website feedback will be used to help students and technology staff create tutorials that can be shared online.

The committee's next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 8.
