All student transportation requests are due by Friday, Aug. 6. Families must sign up separately for each student by this deadline in order to receive service. Bus service will be limited to:
Elementary school students who live more than .5 mile from school
Middle and high school students who live more than 1 mile from school
Considerations are made when there are no safe walk-to-school zones and/or hazards (ex: four-lane highways)
Transportation of students from home to school, and school to home.
All routes must be within a student’s school attendance zone. In addition, students will not be permitted to ride any bus except the one to which they are assigned. This is a change from previous years, when students could ride along with a friend, with parent permission.
Food Service and Free and Reduced Lunch Program
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is extending its funding for school meals through June 30, 2022, which means all Lindbergh students will continue to be eligible for free, healthy meals through the end of next school year.
Your student’s food service balance will be rolled over from the 2020-21 school year, and can be used to purchase ala carte food and beverage items. If you have questions regarding food service, please contact the Food Service department at firstname.lastname@example.org or 314-729-2400, ext. 8875.
