Lindbergh Schools SIS and Core Data Specialist Michelle McRoy has been named a 2018 Tyler Technologies Public Sector Excellence Award Winner. McRoy was honored for demonstrating excellence in deploying Tyler Student Information System (SIS) in innovative and impactful ways, during the Tyler SIS user group meeting, April 11-12 in Columbia, Mo.
Since Lindbergh Schools selected Tyler SIS in 1990, its simple reporting and automation have saved the staff countless hours of manual data entry and reporting time, giving users the ability to access and analyze information simply and efficiently.
Lindbergh also implemented Tyler SIS Online Registration and found that it greatly improved the interactions between administrators, teachers and parents. Online Registration has proven to be a big time-saver for parents, who no longer need to hand-write forms and fill out multiple documents for families with more than one student, and for secretaries, who no longer have to read and enter data from duplicative, hand-written forms.
Tyler’s Excellence Award submissions were evaluated by a panel of Tyler leadership and judged on business value, maturity, innovation, and relevance to other public sector organizations. Additional criteria met by award winners included:
Creating a unique process using a Tyler application or service that can educate other organizations
Realizing significant savings after implementing a Tyler solution
Increasing staff productivity by implementing a Tyler application or service
