In Memory of Former Superintendent Dr. Jim Sandfort
With great sadness, Lindbergh Schools shares the passing of former Superintendent Dr. James (Jim) A. Sandfort, who died on May 18 following a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was 81 years old.

District Announces New High School Activities Director
Lindbergh Schools is pleased to welcome Mr. Sean Erwin as Director of Activities for Secondary Schools. Mr. Erwin has served as an athletic and activities director for 14 years, most recently at Francis Howell High School in St. Charles.

LHS, STLCC Partnership Leads to Continued Success
Lindbergh Schools has been recognized by St. Louis Community College for leading the area in student participation in its dual credit and dual enrollment programs during the 2024-25 school year.

Lindbergh HS Track Field Closes for Construction
The Lindbergh High School track stadium will be closed this summer for Prop R improvements. During this time, the area will be closed for all school use, community members and outside facility rentals.

Lindbergh Schools Celebrates Class of 2025
Students in Lindbergh High School’s 72nd graduating class celebrated the end of their Lindbergh Schools era, and began their post-high school chapters at the Class of 2025’s graduation ceremony held Wednesday, May 21, at Chaifetz Arena.

Twenty-nine students signed letters of intent to play collegiate athletics, and six signed letters of intent to continue performing arts endeavors.D

LHS Band Hosts 36-Hour Musicthon on April 11 to Benefit Childhood Cancer Research
Lindbergh High School band members performed for 36 straight music-filled hours April 11-12, raising $8,023.02 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, in honor of a young band buddy who passed away in 2014 following a brave battle with cancer.

Congratulations to Lindbergh High School history teacher Tim Deposki, who has been named the Lindbergh Schools 2025 Teacher of the Year! District and school administrators surprised Deposki during an all-staff assembly on Friday, April 4.

The Lindbergh Schools Foundation hosted its largest ever Senior Scholarship Night on April 2 at Lindbergh High School’s Performing Arts Center, awarding $238,750 in total scholarships to 85 deserving seniors.

Lindbergh High School Adds Certified Nursing Assistant Program for 2025-26
Lindbergh Schools will launch a new Certified Nursing Assistant program at Lindbergh High School for the 2025-26 school year with the allocation of a $400,000 limited access grant from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Lindbergh Educator Named Missouri Outstanding Beginning Teacher
Lindbergh High School teacher Charlie Yeldham has been honored as one of Missouri’s Outstanding Beginning Teachers by the Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. He was honored on Feb. 17 at the MACTE spring conference.
