Attendance Office

  • Regular attendance is one of the most important factors contributing to a student’s success in school, and it is strongly recommended that students be present every day in all of their classes. A parent or guardian is expected to inform the school when a student is absent or when an absence from school is anticipated.

Lines with answering machines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You may contact the school and leave a message at the following numbers:

    • 9th Grade: 314-729-2415
    • 10th Grade: 314-729-2416
    • 11th Grade: 314-729-2417
    • 12th Grade: 314-729-2418

Absence from School

  • At Lindbergh High School, a student is not allowed more than five (5) absences per semester, excused or unexcused. On the sixth (6) absence, the student will receive no credit.

An absence will be EXCUSED only if the Attendance Office receives a phone call, email or doctor's note to verify the absence. If the Attendance Office does not receive a call, email or doctor's note, the absence will be marked UNEXCUSED.

During the school day, a student must secure a permission slip from the Attendance Office before leaving campus or returning to class. Failure to follow this procedure may result in disciplinary action.
