Regular attendance in class is one of the most important factors contributing to a student’s success in school. It is the strong desire of the teachers and administrators that students be present every day in their classes. Parents are responsible for calling the attendance office sometime during the day of a student’s absence. Lines with answering machines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You may contact the school and leave a message at the following numbers:
- 9th Grade: 314-729-2415
- 10th Grade: 314-729-2416
- 11th Grade: 314-729-2417
- 12th Grade: 314-729-2418
Absence from School
At Lindbergh High School, a student is not allowed more than five (5) absences per semester, excused or unexcused. On the sixth (6) absence, the student will receive no credit.
An absence will be EXCUSED only if the Attendance Office receives a phone call on the day of the absence. Notes will not be accepted. If the Attendance Office does not receive a call by the following day of the absence, the absence will be marked UNEXCUSED.
During the school day, students must check out in Room 59 and secure a permission slip before leaving campus. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.
