• Here are a few examples of how Lindbergh has partnered with the community to promote character education initiatives:
     
    Dr. Marvin Berkowitz: Sandford N. McDonnell Endowed Professor of Character Education and co-director of the Center for Character and Citizenship has consulted and trained staff members during professional development time.  His focus on class meetings and character development/education has helped many facutly successfully implement character education in the classrooms.
     
    CHARACTERplus organzation: LHS utilizes many resouces, progams, and services provided by the CHARACTERplus organzation to provide high-qualilty character education in our school. 
     
    Rotary (Interact): sponsors the LHS Interact student organizaton that works to support local and worldwide communty initivatives. This organiaton also recognizes a student of the month that demonstates positive character with the highest moral and performance values,  as well as annual provides annual finanical scholarships for deserving students.
     
    Kiwanis (Key Club): sponsors the LHS Interact student organizaton that works to support local and worldwide communty initivatives. This organiaton also recognizes a student of the month that demonstates positive character with the highest moral and performance values,  as well as provides annual finanical scholarships for deserving students.
     
    STEP UP:  provides leadership, education, and resources to address and prevent substance abuse and unhealthy choices among Lindbergh area youth through the active collaboration of area schools, students, parents and all sectors of our community. They support many of our edcuational pieces from Flyer Parent University to our rake-a-thon in our Academy.
