Lindbergh Schools Opens Board of Education Advisory Committee Application Process

June 20, 2023

Five years ago, the Lindbergh Schools Board of Education formed a group of Board Advisory Committees that bring together parents, professionals and community members to share feedback and guide the work of our school district. This summer, we are reopening the Board Advisory Committee application process to introduce new voices to each group.

Lindbergh’s advisory committees allow board members to seek input and advice from community members, and promote widespread involvement and participation on issues that affect our district. The five patron committees include:

Each committee includes community members, parents, board members and district staff members. In addition, we invite and encourage students in grades 7-12 to apply for participation on the Student Life, Teaching and Learning, Technology, and Finance committees.

Committee members will be appointed prior to the start of the school year and serve two-year terms. All committee members must be patrons of Lindbergh Schools. Most Board Advisory Committees meet once a month and report to the Board of Education.

Please fill out an application online before Friday, June 30 if you are interested in serving on a Board of Education Advisory Committee. If you have questions or need assistance filling out a form, please contact Andrea Hosenfelt, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and Board of Education, at 314-729-2400, ext. 8600 or via email at andreahosenfelt@lindberghschools.ws.
