Board Approves 2019-24 Strategic Plan

April 9, 2019

Dear Lindbergh Community,

If someone were to ask you WHY Lindbergh Schools exists, what would you say? We posed this question last fall with our Strategic Planning Committee, and using community input, district data and thoughtful creativity, they developed the following WHY for Lindbergh -- in other words, this is the purpose, cause and belief that drives our organization:

“Excellence in learning. Designing the future.”

This new mission statement for Lindbergh Schools was approved by the Board of Education on March 12 as part of a five-year strategic plan that defines the school district’s purpose, outlines strategic goals for the future, and lists core beliefs that are essential to student success. I am so excited to share this guiding document with you and continue to share our progress as we work together to achieve our goals.

I would like to thank our Strategic Planning Committee, which included parent, teacher, student, staff and community member representation, for their dedication in developing the Compass document, which will provide a framework for everything we do in Lindbergh Schools.

As we look to the future together, I am excited to imagine what student success looks like for every child in our schools. Together, we can prepare every child for a successful future!
