The 2017-18 calendar has 175 school days, including six early release days and four half days. In the event of inclement weather, six days at the end of the year have been designated as emergency makeup days.
The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education approved a $71.9 million balanced operating budget with a projected surplus of $23,719. This budget includes six additional full time equivalent teaching positions.
Lindbergh Schools will not have to make up days missed due to flooding on May 3-5. The 2016-17 calendar will remain unchanged, and the last day of school for students and teachers will be Friday, May 26.
Girl Scouts in Lindbergh collected more than 45,000 personal care items for women in need during the organization’s April Showers drive. April Showers is the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s largest service event.
Lindbergh is projecting another year of rapid growth, with 182 additional students expected to enroll for the 2017-18 school year. Over the next four years, K-12 enrollment is expected to increase by 901 students.
