ESSER Funding Update for Lindbergh Schools
Lindbergh Schools is receiving approximately $3.8 million in federal relief funding to offset costs related to providing education during the COVID-19 pandemic. This portion of the $1.9 billion distributed to Missouri public schools ranks Lindbergh’s allocation in the bottom 10 of school districts statewide.
In February 2022, the Missouri General Assembly passed and Gov. Mike Parson signed into law House Bill 3014. This early supplemental budget bill includes 90 percent of Missouri’s American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) allocation to school district — a total of $1.9 billion.
Lindbergh’s American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds will be used almost exclusively to reimburse the district for expenditures related to COVID-19.
