Board Approves 2021-22 District Calendar
Dec. 9, 2020
The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education voted during its December meeting to approve the 2021-22 district calendar. The first day of the 2021-22 school year is set for Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.
Each year, a committee of parents, teachers and administrators meet to develop the calendar before submitting it to the board for final approval. The 2021-22 calendar includes 174 school days, with the last day of school scheduled for Friday, May 27, 2022.
Missouri law requires public schools to start no sooner than 14 calendar days before the first Monday in September. In addition, school years are counted in hours instead of days, which gives districts more flexibility in how they manage inclement weather days.
