District Celebrates Secure Vestibules, Groundbreaking
Sept. 28, 2020
Lindbergh Schools administrators and Board of Education members joined Lindbergh students and staff on Friday, Sept. 25, to celebrate the completion of three secure vestibules across the district, and break ground on new construction at Lindbergh High School. All of these projects are made possible by community support of the Prop R bond issue in April 2019.
Students and staff cut ribbons for new, secure entry vestibules at Crestwood Elementary School, Long Elementary School and Sperreng Middle School.
At LHS, students and staff broke ground on a state-of-the-art new high school that will provide flexible learning opportunities for generations of future students.
Lindbergh voters overwhelmingly approved Prop R, a $105 million no-tax-rate-increase bond issue to revitalize the Lindbergh High School campus and create districtwide safety equity, in April 2019. More than 77 percent of voters cast ballots in favor of Prop R, which required 57.15 percent for approval.
