Lindbergh Donations Keep St. Louis Children Warm this Winter
Lindbergh students and families collected 412 winter wear items during the Kiwanis Club of Crestwood-Sunset Hills’ Winter Wear Drive. The Winter Wear Drive has been going on for several years, but this is the first time that collection bins have been placed in Lindbergh school buildings. Students, staff and families gave generously to keep children in our city warm this season. Donations included 142 coats, in addition to several hats, gloves, scarves, boots, socks and earmuffs. They will benefit not only Lindbergh students in need, but also students in St. Louis Public Schools.
ECE Coat Drive Warms Hearts this Season
Lindbergh Early Childhood Education students filled 22 large bags with coats during the month of November, to benefit children at the Carondelet Community Betterment Federation. Coats, scarfs, vests, boots and gloves were collected by all of the children at ECE and ECE West. Students used the coats to learn about counting, sorting, and most importantly, friendship and caring for those less fortunate.
