Lindbergh High School Student Council hosted a sold-out Taste of Lindbergh event on April 21, which raised more than $3,200 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Fifteen restaurants each provided 300 servings of food for hungry visitors, all for a great cause.
Participating restaurants included Joe Boccardi’s, Chick-fil-A of Sunset Hills, Culver’s, Failoni’s, Fuzzy’s Tacos, Jason’s Deli, McAlister’s, Olive Garden, Pappy’s Smokehouse, Pi, Sam’s Steakhouse, Smoothie King, Smugala’s and Three Kings Public House.
The event was organized by senior Anni Dineen, junior Emma Fore and sophomore Alex Foerstel, and was followed by a free Out of the Darkness Walk and lantern release. Donations from the walk will be donated to the Eric Meyer and Cody Budde 51 memorial scholarships, in honor of an LHS teacher and student, respectively, who passed away in recent years.
