Lindbergh Accomplishments 11-6-14
November 6, 2014
The Crestwood Elementary School fifth grade Girl Scout troop helped build a bridge to learning Oct. 25 when they continued beautification work in the school’s outdoor classroom. The girls removed damaged wood from a bridge railing in the outdoor learning space and installed new cross beams and handrails. They scrubbed the bridge to make it less slippery in wet conditions, and they also shortened a damaged bench in the area.
Thanks to all of the girls’ hard work, the classroom area, bridge and trail are now fully functional. The troop’s next project is to lay mulch the area.
