Lindbergh Schools is proud to be named a recipient of the 2025 Top Workplaces Award, sponsored by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. This is the district’s sixth consecutive year to receive this honor. In the Large Category (500+ employees), Lindbergh Schools ranked eighth overall, improving from 14th overall last year.

For this year’s winners list, 159 St. Louis-area employers were ranked based on their employee survey feedback. Employees completed a scientific survey to rate their workplace culture and provided insights on what makes their organization unique. Employers that score high enough are recognized as Top Workplaces. 

“Lindbergh teachers, staff and administrators embrace cutting-edge technologies and teaching methods, to ensure that students are prepared for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow,” said Dr. Tony Lake, Superintendent of Schools. “We celebrated our 75th Anniversary as a school district in 2024-25, and our sixth year as a top workplace in the area. This honor reinforces our commitment to creating a culture where our employees continue to feel valued.”  

The Top Workplaces 24-question employee engagement survey gathers responses on issues relating to workplace culture, including:

• Coaching - managers care about concerns, are helpful, encourage employee development
• Connection - employees feel appreciated, work is meaningful, working at full potential, clued into each other
• Engagement - productivity, retention, recruiting

• The Basics - pay, benefits, flexibility, training, expectations

Employers are categorized by size, and they are ranked within those size groups to accurately compare results.
