On Monday, February 10th,  the 8th - 12th grade standards-based learning task force, comprised of teachers, parents, students, and administrators, met in their continued study of how standards-based learning could be applied beyond 7th grade.  In this meeting, members heard from a local high school principal implementing standards-based grading practices.  

Hearing from an expert who has implemented standards-based systems in Maine, New Hampshire, and now Missouri gave the task force great insight into what works and the challenges that exist.  We will use this information as well as the resources collected from across the country to determine Lindbergh’s priorities. 

The task force meets again in March; we will continue to communicate their work and a final recommendation is expected in May of this school year.
