Five Flyers Named National Merit Commended Students

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced that five Lindbergh High School students have been named Commended Students in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Seniors Sindhu Bala, Karen Guo, Gabriel Haegele, WooYoung Park and Martyn Seeker are among 34,000 students nationwide who have been named Commended Students this year.
"We are proud of these students for achieving this level of academic success," said LHS Principal Dr. Eric Cochran. "They are leaders for their peers and represent the core values and mission of Lindbergh High School."
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has recognized 50,000 students this year for their exceptional academic performance. Commended Students placed among the top three percent of more than 1.5 million students who took the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
