District Shares School Reopening Plan
July 20, 2020
Lindbergh’s Green Light plan provides an overview of the steps that our school district is taking to reduce the number of students in classrooms and promote social distancing to the best of our ability. All sections of this plan align with St. Louis County Department of Health recommendations.
Based on community feedback and the ability to do our best to support social distancing in buildings, Lindbergh Schools will offer two learning options for students:
- In-person instruction
- Full-time virtual instruction
In addition, the district has created three-phase plan to respond to COVID-19 spread in our community.
This three-phase plan is based on the information we have available today. These guidelines and recommendations could change, and we will remain flexible as we work to accomplish our most important goal, which is to do what is best for kids and families.
It is important to understand that these precautions will not necessarily eliminate COVID-19 from our learning environments. What they WILL do is help us mitigate risk while allowing students to return to school. We are committed to doing our part in this shared responsibility to ensure all of our students and staff have a safe and healthy place to learn.
