A Back-to-School Message from Dr. Lake
August 14, 2018
Dear Lindbergh Community,
I am truly humbled and honored to be the superintendent of Lindbergh Schools. The 2018-19 school year is upon us, bringing another year filled with opportunities for Lindbergh students to grow both personally and academically. I look forward to honoring the district’s past and building upon previous achievements as we look toward the future together.
Lindbergh is a special place because of its engaged, forward thinking community. We are fortunate to have so many immensely talented and invested individuals, including dedicated students, teachers, administrators and support staff; and supportive parents, business partners and community members.
I believe our job as educators is to ensure that all students experience success. To create a meaningful experience for every student, we must define what success looks like for the most mobile generation ever: Generation Z. Innovative, forward-thinking leaders can prepare these students for success in a future that will look much different than our today.
This fall, I am visiting with audiences throughout our community to hear from you and learn more about Lindbergh. I would also like to invite you to fill out our 2018 Listening and Learning survey here.
I look forward to the opportunities we can create together for a new and greater future for our students, and I wish you and your family a happy and successful school year.
Dr. Tony Lake
Superintendent
