February 14, 2018
Parents in Lindbergh Schools continued to show strong support for district teachers, programs and facilities in 2016-17, with donations totaling $607,233. Lindbergh parents have a long tradition of giving back to local education through not only monetary donations, but also participation in district committee work, organization of events, and countless volunteer hours.
Parent donations since 2012 total more than $2.7 million, for projects and purchases in support of Lindbergh schools, students, staff, and community. Dr. Tara Sparks, assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, presented this donation total to the Board of Education on Jan. 9.
“These donations have been very important in providing the best possible education and programming to the students of Lindbergh Schools, and we appreciate our parents very much,” said Dr. Sparks.
