Voters Re-Elect Incumbents to Board of Education

Lindbergh Schools voters re-elected incumbent Board of Education members Karen Schuster and Kate Holloway on April 7. The official election results are:
DIRECTOR LINDBERGH SCHOOLS
At the April 14 Board of Education meeting, board President Kathleen Kienstra swore in Schuster and Holloway, and then the board elected its officers. The officers are: Kathleen Kienstra, president; Donald Bee, vice president; Karen Schuster, secretary; Vicki Englund, treasurer.
Additional Board of Education meeting highlights:
Crestwood Elementary School fifth-graders Lydia Schneider, Ida Fan and Libby Meister were recognized by the board for serving their school through the Flyer Families program. The girls also are ambassadors who give tours of Crestwood and welcome guests to the school.
Lindbergh High School sophomore Gabriel Poteet was honored for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project, Gabriel built wolf den boxes for the Endangered Wolf Center in Eureka.

The board also issued resolutions honoring National Teacher Day on May 5, Administrative Professional’s Day on April 22, and School Nurse Day May 6.
