Happy Halloween from Lindbergh Schools

Students at all five Lindbergh elementary schools, as well as Early Childhood Education and ECE West celebrated Halloween and the arrival of fall with parades, pumpkins and some outdoor exercise. Check out the stories below and visit our district Facebook page for more photos.

Kennerly
Kennerly Elementary School students showed off their costumes in the community as they walked the annual parade route to Tesson Heights Senior Living center. Each year, the Tesson Heights residents look forward to this Halloween tradition as their Kennerly friends come to visit.

Concord
Concord Elementary School students celebrated Halloween by weaving their way through the school’s annual Pumpkin Run. Students walked to Sperreng Middle School, then completed a one-mile run around the middle school fields before returning to Concord for their afternoon Halloween parties.
Crestwood
Family and friends filled the hallways for Crestwood Elementary School’s annual costume parade. Students were decked out in a variety of costumes, including plenty of princesses and superheroes. Even principal Jodi Meese took part in the fun, dressing as a St. Louis Blues fanatic.
Kennerly
Kennerly Elementary School students showed off their costumes in the community as they walked the annual parade route to Tesson Heights Senior Living center. Each year, the Tesson Heights residents look forward to this Halloween tradition as their Kennerly friends come to visit.
Students also spent the day participating in an American Diabetes Association School Walk for Diabetes to promote healthy living, school spirit and community involvement.
Long
Students at Long Elementary School kicked off their Halloween celebration with a schoolwide costume parade in the parking lot. Parents and siblings lined the curb as students strutted their stuff in a variety of costumes. Following the parade, students returned to their classrooms for more Halloween activities.
Sappington
At Sappington Elementary School, students participated in a variety of Halloween-themed activities, including a pumpkin catapult and costume parade. Principal Dr. Craig Hamby, dressed as Batman, led the parade through the hallways as family and friends smiled, waved and snapped photos. Students also enjoyed classroom parties to finish out the afternoon.
ECE and ECE West
Students at ECE and ECE West celebrated Halloween by transforming into their favorite characters for schoolwide costume parades. Popular choices included Elsa from the movie Frozen, as well as several superheroes from The Avengers. Staff members also joined in the fun, dressing as pumpkins, witches and crayons.
