Dress Warm During Low Temperatures
January 6, 2015
As we prepare for extremely cold temperatures tomorrow, please remember to bundle up your family before heading to school and work. Meteorologists are predicting a high of only 9 degrees, with wind making it feel even colder.
Because the chance for precipitation on Wednesday is zero, road conditions will be safe and school will be open as usual. Please be assured that our buses and classrooms will be warm and comfortable. However, it is important to make sure your child wears a winter coat, hat, scarf and mittens or gloves outside, especially those who wait at a bus stop.
Elementary school principals will follow standard procedure and hold indoor recess. Indoor recess is called anytime the temperature or wind chill falls below 20 degrees.
