Alumni Invited to Celebrate at Awards Banquet

Beloved former teachers, star student-athletes and distinguished alumni will be honored at Lindbergh High School’s annual Alumni Awards Banquet Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Royale Orleans Banquet Center, 2801 Telegraph Road. All alumni are invited to attend.
This year’s honorees include:
All proceeds from the event benefit LHS Alumni Association, which supports scholarships for deserving college-bound seniors.

- Distinguished Educators
- Kathy Bade, Sperreng Middle School and Truman Elementary School teacher; district director of instruction, 30 years
- Rose Bingaman, Kennerly Elementary School kindergarten teacher, 27 years
- Barb Gregston, first grade teacher, Crestwood and Truman elementary schools, 30 years
- Sharon Knueppe, middle school art teacher, 29 years
- Janet Rhodes, Crestwood Elementary School second grade teacher, 30 years
- Distinguished Alumni
- Harvey “Skip” Cox, class of 1960 – highly decorated retired Lt. Col. in U.S. Air Force
- Samuel Dover DVM, class of 1978 – staff veterinarian for Sea World, founder/executive director and chief veterinarian for Channel Island Marine and Wildlife Insitute
- Dr. Randall Tobler, class of 1976 – CEO, Scotland County Hospital; radio host
- Athletic Hall of Fame
- Amy Hake Rzepka, class of 2005 – girls basketball
- Mike Kraft, class of 1984 – baseball
- Dale Lopinot, class of 1977 – baseball
- Hope Lorch, girls golf coach
