Announcements for Today, April 18:
*Key Club will meet after school today in room 309.
*Mr. LHS fun facts: Did you know that Blase Daugherty's first name was his grandmother's last name? Evan Knobbe is an Eagle Scout? Dylan Schade loves a good murder mystery? Cam Brockschmidt has visited 10 major league baseball parks? Find out more about all 12 contestants tonight at Mr. LHS. Tickets on sale at all three lunches for $5, the prices goes up to $10 at the door. Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:00.
*Another HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the Ladies Track and Field team for not only placing first in the Track and Field meet last night, but also for hosting and making the meet a big success! Thank you to all staff that joined the coaches and athletes run the events and make this meet a success!
*ATTENTION SENIORS: Senior Picnic will be on May 3rd this year at Vetta Sports Complex. Tickets are on sale for $15.00. Please come to the 12th grade office to purchase tickets. It will be a great time! Don't miss out!
* The library is closed after school today. Please make other arrangements.
*Hey LHS! The 10th annual Filmfest is tomorrow at 7 pm in the Lindbergh auditorium. It is completely free, so come for an awesome night of student lead films and fun! See you there!
*Hey Lindbergh! FCA is hosting their Easter meeting tomorrow from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Southgate church! We will have pizza, an easter egg hunt, gaga ball, and great discussion! All are welcome. We hope to see you there!
*The Junior Varsity Roller Hockey team has a game tomorrow night at 9:00 pm vs Fort Zumwalt West at Midwest Sports Hockey rink. They face CBC at 9:00pm at Fenton Forum Rink on Saturday and on Monday April 22 at 9:00 pm they play Fort Zumwalt North at the Fenton Forum rink. Come out and cheer your UNDEFEATED Varsity Roller team!
*Flyers Boys Rugby will be having practices open to all interested athletes the week of April 23. It’s a great opportunity for freshmen and sophomores to learn about the sport, meet the team, and have some fun. Practices are at Bohrer Park at 3:30 on Tuesday, 4/23 and Thursday, 4/25. Check with Athletics Office or team captain Jacob Gonzalez for more information.
* Students wishing to Test-out of Personal Financial Management or who are taking an embedded course need to register for the Missouri State Personal Finance Test by April 26 on Mrs. Girard's webpage. The state test will be held after school May 7 or May 9. Students will choose only one date to sign-up for. Mrs. Girard's website provides more information and study resources.
* The following college representatives will be visiting LHS. Friday, April 26th, Franklin College of Indiana - 6th hour: Monday, April 29th, Ohio University - 1st hour, University of Evansville - 2nd hour, The University of Tampa - 6th hour & Bard College - 7th hour. Sign up through Naviance Student to attend.
* Summer A+ tutors--If you are interested in Summer A+ tutoring, you must attend the meeting on Wednesday, May 1 at 1:30 in the auditorium.
*Senior Athletes: We apologize but due to the testing schedule we have moved the College Signing Day to Wednesday, May 8! Anyone that will be participating needs to stop by the Athletic Office and fill out a form to be included in the ceremony.
