    Announcements for Today, August 21:


    *Hey Everyone! The Lindbergh Luchadores are holding their 2nd annual Improv workshop today. If you want to learn more about the basics of acting on the fly, or you just want to have a few hours of fun with friends, come to room 414 after school today. The workshop will last until 3:30, and is a great way to prepare for the August 28th Improv team auditions. Hope to see you there!


    *Looking to join a social justice club that focuses on LGBTQ rights? The Lindbergh Alliance is the place for you! They will hold their first meeting of the year this coming Friday, the 23rd, during the B Block of Power Lunch. They will meet in room 41 to discuss the upcoming school year. New members are always welcome!


    *School pictures for 9th, 10th and 11th graders and staff will be taken on Monday, 8/26 and Tuesday, 8/27 in the auditorium lobby. Students will take their photo during English class.


    *The fall play auditions will take place on Monday, August 26th in room 414. You must turn in a yellow audition contract to Mrs. Winingham on or before Monday next week. You must also have a memorized monologue prepared from the packet outside of room 414. If you are interested in crew, you must turn in a yellow tech contract to Mrs. Winingham on or before Thursday next week.


    *Green Machine members and those wanting to join Green Machine, the first meeting for the school year is Sept 3rd during B Lunch in room 5!  Mark your calendars and prepare for an amazing year!


    *FBLA wants you! Future Business Leaders of America is recruiting new members through September 6.  FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. Our 1st chapter meeting will be during Power Lunch Sept 3 in the library upstairs. 


    *Attention, all students that are interested in earning the A+ Scholarship and are ready to start the tutoring requirement. On Thursday, September 4th at 10:30 in the auditorium, we will have a short meeting to go over expectations for tutoring and sign up for tutoring sites. Please look at your family schedules and come to the meeting with a day of the week that you are available after school for tutoring. Please stop by the 11th grade office or email Mrs. Koller Montgomery if you have any questions.
