    Announcements for Today, January 23:

    *Interested in playing girls lacrosse? Come to our open gym TONIGHT from 7-8:30 pm in Gym 2.You don't need your own equipment to attend. Email Ms. Stevens with questions.

    *Interested in playing boys volleyball? Come our next open gym this Friday, January 24th at 6:00 p.m. in Gym 2. Also, be sure to come to plyometrics and agility training every Tuesday and Thursday immediately after school in the weight room. See Mr. Biggs, Mr. Edwards, or Mr. Zuniga for more information.

    *If you are looking for a fun summer job, check out the Zoo! The St. Louis Zoo will be hosting a job fair this Saturday from 9am-12:00.  You must be 15 years old to apply.

    * The Card and Game board club will meet Monday, Jan. 27th during A & B lunch in room 309.  All are welcome!!

    *All interested athletes are invited to the Boys Rugby team’s first practice next Tuesday, January 28 @ 3:30pm at Bohrer Park. No experience is needed so give this fun and fast-paced sport a try. For more information, email flyersrugby@gmail.com or see Coach Ben McNeely.

    *Auditions for next year's show choir will be Wednesday January 29th or Thursday, January 30th in the choir room during power lunch. You can choose which day works best for you and A or B lunch. It should not take longer than 30 minutes. See Mrs. Swearingen in the choir room for more information.

    *Don't miss out on a yearbook!  The deadline to order a yearbook is Friday, January 31st.  Please visit yearbookordercenter.com and use the school code 8215 to purchase yours today!

    *Interested in taking a journalism class or joining next year's newspaper, yearbook or broadcast staff?  There will be an informational meeting on Friday, January 31st in room 129 during Power Lunch B.

    *Lindbergh's Ultimate Frisbee Team is looking to grow and will be holding a meeting on Tuesday Feb. 4th from 2:35-3:00 in room 124. Ultimate Frisbee is a growing sport in St. Louis with around 15 different teams from schools all throughout St. Louis and is an all inclusive sport for both men and women.

    *SENIORS!  The Lindbergh Foundation is offering scholarships ranging from $300 to $5,000.  The deadline is February 21st! Scholarships from the Alumni Association are included with the LHS Foundation. The Curtis Kenner Scholarship worth $20,000 is available with a deadline of March 2nd.  Scholarships from Shelter Insurance & Dr.'s Clark & Stegmann are also available with deadlines at the end of March.  These will be found in Naviance Student Scholarship List under LHS.  Visit Naviance Student to apply for these and many more.  Don't wait!
