    TODAY is an “A” day! 

    STEM Squad will meet TODAY after school in Mrs. Nussbaum’s room.

    Truman Middle will be hosting a Science Night TONIGHT from 6:00-8:00 PM.  All are welcome to attend! 

    Student Council will be selling orange crush TOMORROW-Valentine’s Day during lunches.  They are only a $1.00!

    The High School Senior Class Officers are sponsoring a Canned Food Drive for the Salvation Army.  If you bring two canned food items to the boy's basketball game on Tuesday, February 19th (senior night) you will be entered into a raffle for a fall season sports pass or free Lindbergh apparel. All collected cans will be donated to a local Salvation Army food pantry. Three winners will be chosen. 

    St. Louis University Women's Basketball would like to invite you to join them for their annual Pink-Out game on Sunday, February 17th at 2pm at Chaifitz Arena.  There are limited number of tickets available. If you are interested in attending please come to the office for tickets. Tickets are first come first serve. 

    TREND will be meeting at Sperreng after school today, Wednesday, February 13th, in Mrs. Benson's room. We will be working on our PSAs, so come prepared!

    Student Trivia Night is coming….February 22, 2019 at Truman Middle School-Cafe.  You may pre-register for VIP Seating.  See Dr. Straatmann’s parent email for the link to sign-up.  If you don’t pre-register the cost is $5.00 at the door and CASH ONLY.  Students may sign up as a team of 8 or individually.  Does your team have what it takes to beat the staff from TMS and SMS?

    TODAY:  Yellow/Orange Day (wear anything yellow or orange).

    TOMORROW:  Red/Pink Day for Valentine’s Day

    Floor Hockey Intramurals begin TOMORROW after school.  Pick up a permission slip in the lobby or print one from Dr. Straatmann's email.

    Builders Club members:  Our next regular meeting will be TODAY at Sperreng.  Please take the shuttle bus over after school.  We will be painting, so dress accordingly.

    Join us for an opportunity to help create a recycled art sculpture on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from noon-3:00 PM in the Truman Café.  Bring a used clean water bottle or a 2 liter bottle.  We will transform this “junk” to create a beautiful art installation in the style of artist Dale Chihuly!  Everyone is welcome to attend.  See the flyer in the Virtual Backpack to sign up. 

    Lego robotics, green screen videos, Minecraft, Sphero robots, Breakout boxes, and app creation are just a few of the hands-on STEAM activities available for students to enjoy during Camp Innovate at Truman Middle School. At Camp Innovate, we believe in the power of imagination, creativity and innovation.  Dates are set for July 8-11 and July 15-18 from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Registration is now open, so reserve your spot today! This is a STEAM centered camp for incoming 6-9th graders.
