Tri-M Music Honor Society
The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for high school students that motivates and recognizes musical achievement. Through over 3,200 chartered chapters, thousands of students have received recognition for their efforts and honor for musical accomplishments. Tri-M strives to increase student and school involvement with music and to strengthen and unify the school music program.
Tri-M members participate in service projects, concerts and recitals, and work to benefit the music department as a whole. Students are invited to apply for membership after completing one semester in any music course offered at the high school. Students must be of excellent character, exhibit a good attitude toward teachers and fellow students, and be cooperative and helpful in their classes and school. Students must have maintained a “B” average in music courses, with at least a “C” average in other academic subjects.
