    Announcements for Today, September 20:

    *Sunday Night Light’s New Caribbean blue and classic yellow T-shirts will be on sale during all three lunches today and Thursday for $10.

    *All are welcome at Key Club tomorrow after school in room 24. Help us plan our game booth for Sunday Night Lights!

    *Lindbergh High School along with 4 other high schools will be hosting a College Fair today from 6 pm-7:30pm at St. Louis Community College- Meramec. Over 125 colleges and universities will be present. In order to save you time, you need to register in advance and print off your bar code and bring it with you. You can register at www.strivefair.com. If you need help registering see Mrs. Keegan in the Counseling Office.

    *Please donate to Hurricane victims during 1st lunch in the old cafeteria.  The box will be located on the table closest to the microwaves, or bring your donations to room 314 at any time.  Items needed are:  Cases of water, diapers, formula and baby food, new socks - all sizes, toiletries, new pillows, blankets, and towels, black trash bags, work gloves, inflatable mattresses and hand sanitizer.  Please no household items or clothing at this time.

    *Students can sign-up during some 8th hour Wednesdays to attend a presentation by a speaker from different careers. The speakers will discuss an overview of their profession, education needed, pros and cons, and answer questions.  Meeting place is to be determined. If you can attend just show up.

    *Tuesday, September 26 is photo retake day for SENIORS who haven't been photographed (or would like to have their picture retaken) for the yearbook.  Our photo company will be set up in the Multipurpose room from 7:15 - 3:00.  Please come take your photo whenever it is convenient. 

    *Lindbergh High School, will be offering the ASVAB on Thursday, October 26th.  The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is the military's career exploration assessment that is used to evaluate the skills and talents of individuals who are interested in entering the military.  If you are interested in taking the ASVAB, sign-up with Mrs. Burns in the Counseling Office.  Taking the ASVAB does not imply that you will have to join the military upon graduation.

    *Students wishing to Test-out of Personal Financial Management or who are taking an embedded course need to register for the Missouri State Personal Finance Test by November 17 on Mrs. Girard's webpage. The state test will be held after school December 5 and Dec 7.Students will choose only one date to sign-up for. Mrs. Girard's website provides more information and study resources.

    Athletics for Today:

    Boys JV Green Soccer vs JV Gold Soccer in their Jesse Haddix Memorial Tournament at 4:30 on the Stadium.

    Girls Varsity Golf hosts the Suburban West Conference at Links of Dardenne at 8:00am.

    Girls JV, Varsity and Freshmen Volleyball @ Nerinx Hall at 4:00, 4:30 and 6:45pm.

    Boys Swimming @ Lafayette at 4:30.

    Lindbergh teachers are encouraged to use electronic communication to enhance teaching and share information more effectively with our families. Your child’s teacher may use Facebook, a classroom blog, or the Web, for example, to share information with you from time to time. In addition, we maintain Facebook and Twitter pages to share events and happenings at our school throughout the year.
